After practice on Monday, it was revealed that the Cleveland Browns have waived/injured DL Dylan Wynn, the second-year player who had an impressive rookie camp in 2015.
Wynn suffered an ankle injury during Sunday’s practice and did not take part in Monday’s session. By placing him on the “waived/injured” list, one of two things could happen. Another team could claim him off waivers, but that’s unlikely to happen. The more likely scenario is that the Browns agree to an injury settlement with him to outright release him, or have his status revert to the injured reserve list.
Here was Wynn’s parting message on Twitter:
I wanna thank the @Browns and the Dawgpound for everything, injuries are part of our jobs and I'll be back before you know it! #GoBrowns

The Browns’ roster is now at 89 players, so they will likely add somebody in the next day. They could be looking for a fullback, given the injuries to Malcolm Johnson and Patrick Skov.
