A big run by RB Raheem Mostert got the Browns in field goal range in the second quarter, and for a second, we thought that QB Josh McCown had found TE Connor Hamlett for a touchdown. However, McCown was past the line of scrimmage, so K Patrick Murray had to come out for a field goal to give Cleveland a 5-3 lead. The second-strangers played the second quarter.
Packers QB Joe Callahan struggled all half until he got to the two-minute warning, when he found open receivers against the Browns’ second stringers. With 0:07 left in the half, Callahan hit one of his running backs for a 2-yard touchdown to give the Packers a 10-5 lead. The Browns will get the ball to begin the second half, and we might see QB Austin Davis out of the locker room.
