Garafolo: Browns were seeking 2nd round pick and more for WR Josh Gordon

According to Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports, pretty much everyone on the Browns’ roster is fair game for trade talk, and the fact that they were able to squeeze a fifth-round pick out for OLB Barkevious Mingo is gold, considering they would have otherwise cut him.

We heard reports earlier this week that teams were inquiring about WR Josh Gordon, who is set to make his 2016 debut tonight against the Buccaneers. Now, Garafolo is revealing what type of compensation the Browns were seeking in return for Gordon, and why teams (presumably) backed down:

“I don't think they're going to end up dealing Gordon. They are not shopping him. But, they did have conversations with teams, and I was told that their price for Gordon was a second-round pick...and then some. So, they would move him for that, but that's a lot for a guy who is suspended the first four games.”

Garafolo also talked about the development of WR Terrelle Pryor, how Sashi Brown is doing a fantastic job, and more in an NFL Network preview video for tonight’s action.
