K’Waun Williams fails physical with the Bears

I guess the Browns won’t be seeing CB K’Waun Williams so soon after all. On Tuesday, the Chicago Bears had claimed the cornerback off waivers, but it was contingent on him passing a physical with the team. According to Brad Briggs of the Chicago Tribune, Williams failed his physical on Wednesday:

That means that Williams will not be on Chicago’s 75-man roster. Previous reports indicated that the Browns had waived Williams without an injury designation, so unless that was inaccurate, he should not be reverting to the Browns’ injured reserve.
