If you recall, fans wondered back in April why the Cleveland Browns waived CB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu. The seventh-round pick from 2015, who once had first-round potential, had claimed he was 100%, but either the new front office wasn’t buying it or simply weren’t interested. The Miami Dolphins claimed him off waivers.
Ekpre-Olomu had been taking part in training camp for the Dolphins, but the team just waived/injured him, and Ian Rapoport reports that it is because he just tore his other ACL:
#Dolphins actually waived/injured CB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu when he tore his other ACL in practice. His cleat got caught in the indoor turf

Ugh, that’s rough. With Ekpre-Olomu not having a proven track record in the NFL and what he’s had to overcome, it’s hard to imagine him ever making it back from this. Hopefully he uses every penny of his $3 million insurance policy wisely; if he does, that’ll get him far without an NFL career.
