Two of the Browns’ cuts on Saturday were claimed by other NFL teams on Sunday, which means they will go on their 53-man roster.

Wide receiver Taylor Gabriel was claimed by the Atlanta Falcons, where he will be re-united with former Browns offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan. Shanahan was with Cleveland during Gabriel’s breakout rookie season in 2014, where he caught 36 catches for 621 yards (17.3 yards per catch average) and 1 touchdown. Gabriel was a victim of the Browns drafting four receivers this year.

Cornerback Pierre Desir was claimed by the San Diego Chargers, where he’ll be re-united with former Browns teammate Travis Benjamin. Desir, a fourth-round pick in 2014, really struggled in 2015 and was converted to safety by the new coaching staff this offseason. I’d expect him to return to the cornerback position for San Diego.
