The Cleveland Browns have named the following players inactive for their Week 17 finale against the Pittsburgh Steelers:
QB Kevin Hogan, QB Josh McCown, RB Darius Jackson, OL Gabe Ikard, DL Stephen Paea, OLB Cam Johnson, and CB Trey Caldwell.
Also, the Browns have announced the following changes to their starting lineup:
- C - Anthony Fabiano
- RG - Austin Pasztor
- RT - Cameron Erving
- OLB - Joe Schobert
The offensive line sees the most change. Jonathan Cooper, who started the past three games at right guard, was waived during the week. Pasztor, who has started all season at right tackle, slides over to right guard. Erving will slide over from center to right tackle for the first time in his career. Fabiano is a new addition to the line.
Schobert replaces Johnson, who is inactive. However, it should be noted that the second outside linebackers in Cleveland’s defense typically don’t receiver much playing time.
The Steelers announced the following inactives:
Inactives for @Steelers: QB Roethlisberger, S Golden, RB Bell, C Pouncey, WR ABrown, TE LGreen, DE Tuitt
