Joe Thomas selected to PFWA All-NFL team for the fourth straight season

NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns Scott R. Galvin-USA TODAY Sports

Joe Thomas All-Pro streak might have come to an end this year, but just like his consecutive snaps and Pro Bowl streak, there is yet another honor that lives on for the future Hall of Famer.

The Pro Football Writers of America (PFWA) released their All-NFL, All-AFC, and All-NFC teams today. Thomas was named to the All-NFL team and the All-AFC team for the fourth consecutive season as an offensive tackle. Thomas’ four-year streak on the All-NFL team is the longest active streak. It’s the seventh time he’s been named to the All-NFL team in his career. His first year came in 2009, and the only year he was left off since then came in 2012.

No other current or former member of the Browns were named to a PFWA team this year.
