On Saturday, Joe Kim confirmed to the Plain Dealer that the Cleveland Browns parted ways with him. Cleveland had hired Kim back in March as an assistant strength/skill development coach. He worked closely with the team’s front seven on hand-fighting skills, and after his announced departure, Danny Shelton and Emmanuel Ogbah took to Twitter to commend him for improving their craft:

I wouldn’t view Kim’s departure as anything of a surprising breakup. If you look at Kim’s background, he usually spends one year with an NFL club as a pass rushing specialist before moving on.
