On Friday, the news came down that the Cleveland Browns had offered their defensive coordinator job to Gregg Williams. Saturday night, Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reported that he has accepted that offer and that “wholesale changes” will be coming to the defensive staff.

That goes along with a previous report from Tony Grossi of ESPN Cleveland, which said that if Williams came to Cleveland, he would be bringing several assistants from the Rams over with him.
Among the Browns’ defensive assistant coaches who could also be on the way out are:
- Defensive Line – Robert Nunn
- Assistant Defensive Line - Ken Delgado
- Outside Linebackers – Ryan Slowik
- Inside Linebackers – Johnny Holland
- Defensive Backs – Louie Cioffi
- Assistant Defensive Backs – Cannon Matthews
- Defensive Quality Control - Eric Sanders
