NFL Wildcard Weekend closes out with what should be the most competitive match-up as the New York Giants battle the Green Bay Packers. The Packers ripped off six straight wins to close out the season, as Aaron Rodgers has the type of momentum anyone would kill for heading into the postseason. In his last seven games of the season, Rodgers threw for 18 touchdowns to 0 interceptions. The Packers also own a win over the Giants earlier in the season. The one element that could come back to bite the Packers is they do not have a credible running game.
The Giants' defense is no joke. When they won three of their final four games, they beat the Cowboys 10-7, the Lions 17-6, and the Redskins 19-10. Those were basically three playoff-caliber teams from the NFC. The problem is that I don’t think they can stifle Rodgers in as extreme of a capacity, and their offense hasn’t shown the ability to score quickly, averaging less than 20 points per game on the season. Packers 24, Giants 17
