The Texans took a 3-0 lead after their opening drive with a 40-yard field goal. Cleveland’s drive stalled at midfield, but they were able to pin Houston back at the 4 yard line. After a three-and-out, a good return by Jabrill Peppers set Cleveland up at the 27 yard line. The Browns could only manage a 41-yard goal by K Zane Gonzalez out of it, tying the game at 3-3.
On Houston’s next drive, Deshaun Watson found Will Fuller for a 39-yard touchdown, beating Peppers on a corner route to give Houston a 10-3 lead. That’s where we stand heading to the second quarter of play.
