Both teams’ offenses struggled for awhile, but the Vikings took a 9-6 lead late in the first half when QB Case Keenum found WR Adam Thielen wide open for an 18-yard score (the extra point was blocked).
Cleveland responded with two 38-yard pass plays in their two-minute drill, and on 3rd-and-goal from the 1, QB DeShone Kizer took it himself to give the Browns a 13-9 lead. The Vikings worked quick to get in range for a 34-yard field goal to end the half, making it a 13-12 game. Cleveland will get the ball to begin the third quarter.
