The Cleveland Browns promoted fullback Marquez Williams from their practice squad to their active roster. To make roster space, the team waived defensive back B. W. Webb.

The 5-foot-10, 260-pound load of a fullback was signed to the team’s practice squad on December 23. A rookie in his first season out of Miami, Florida, Williams was a seventh round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2017 NFL draft.

Webb was inked to replace Derrick Kindred and was inactive for the Browns’ Week 16 matchup with the Chicago Bears.

Williams joins Dan Vitale as the second fullback on the Browns roster. Vitale has already been ruled out for the team’s Week 17 finale in Pittsburgh, though, so the move makes complete sense.
