Wednesday night on Twitter, a fan asked made an inquiry to Cleveland Browns NT Danny Shelton, saying, “I see you got a cast — is everything alright?” That fan was referencing a photo that was included from the @BrownsGiveBack account, which highlighted Shelton meeting with local police chiefs from Cuyahoga County. In the fourth picture, a cast can be seen on Shelton’s left arm.

Shelton responded to the fan’s inquiry by saying that he was OK, and that the cast was for wrist surgery he just had so that he can play at a high level in 2017. He also added that he’ll be ready for the season.
@bodieondacorner yessir I'm all good. Just had my wrist cleaned up so I can kill it this season.

Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal got in touch with Shelton’s agent and a team spokesman, and both also downplayed the matter, with his agent saying that Shelton will be working out next week:
Haig Abnous, Shelton's agent, described the surgery as a small cleanup and said Shelton will be working out next week. A Browns spokesman also said the team anticipates Shelton will be fine.
