Reading between the lines, if appears that the Cleveland Browns have opted not to offer a tender or extension to DL Dylan Wynn, who was an exclusive rights free agent. He tweeted the following on Tuesday:
Thank you Cleveland for everything! It's been fun pic.twitter.com/927hS7SheD
— Charles Dylan Wynn (@cdylanwynn) February 21, 2017
Former Browns LB Craig Robertson responded by telling him to “keep his head up and keep grinding.” Wynn’s Twitter bio also has a question mark listed for his future, with the Browns being in the past.
Wynn first joined the Browns in 2015 as an undrafted free agent, where he was a bit of a “camp darling” for Mike Pettine’s staff, even receiving some first-team reps during practices despite a crowded position group. He only made it to the practice squad that year, and on August 1st, 2016, the team waived/injured him due to an ankle injury. He spent all of last year on IR.
