Tony Pauline of Draft Analyst reports that the Cleveland Browns met with defensive end/outside linebacker Darius English at South Carolina’s pro day this week. Pauline explained how English is a lower-key prospect who has shown some potential:
As we stated in our scouting report, English was ignored by scouts entering the season and was not invited to the combine. Despite that he has all the makings of a designated pass rusher at the next level and can come out of a three-point stance or stand up over tackle.
CBS Sports projects English as either a seventh-round pick or an undrafted free agent. Pauline also reports that English met with the Los Angeles Chargers during his pro day.
