Browns continue to take interest in RB Kareem Hunt at Toledo pro day

NFL: Combine Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

You may recall that the Cleveland Browns were set to formally meet with Toledo running back Kareem Hunt back at the NFL Combine. Hunt, a die-hard Browns fan, just participated in his pro day, and according to Tony Pauline of Draft Analyst, the Browns, Saints, and Lions all had their running backs coaches in attendance to take a further look at Hunt.

That likely would have been Kirby Wilson on hand for the Browns, as he is the team’s run game coordinator. Although Hunt does not have another reported meeting with Cleveland, the fact that they’ve taken as much interest as they have already, despite having two capable backs on the roster in Isaiah Crowell and Duke Johnson, shows me how much they like the 2nd- to 3rd-round prospect.

Some highlights from Hunt’s pro day workout are below.
