Could the Browns be interested in another player from Ashland University (after already having Jamie Meder on the team)? According to NFL.com’s Gil Brandt, the Cleveland Browns are one of six teams who have scheduled a private workout with tight end Adam Shaheen, who hails from Galena, Ohio.
Ashland TE Adam Shaheen has private workouts scheduled with Cleveland, Tampa Bay, Arizona, Philadelphia, Dallas & Tennessee, per @Gil_Brandt

Shaheen is currently ranked as the fourth tight end prospect in this year’s draft class, projected to be selected in the second round. Despite already having Gary Barnidge and Seth DeValve on the roster, the Browns have shown a pretty fair interest in the top receiving tight ends of this year’s draft class, meaning they could be considering one with the No. 12, No. 33, No. 52, or No. 65 picks.
