According to Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal, Cleveland Browns wide receivers coach Al Saunders was present at Akron’s pro day and spent a significant amount of time talking with WR Jerome Lane. You can see a photo of the two below:

In the report, Ulrich talked about the encounter between Saunders and Lane:
Saunders spent a significant amount of time (about 15-20 minutes) with UA wide receiver Jerome Lane Jr., who participated in selected drills. The two spoke during breaks in the action. “It was huge,” Lane said of the Saunders conversation. “A lot of it was him getting to know what type of player I am.” Lane said Saunders wanted to get a gauge of his work ethic and other qualities.
Cleveland also had at least one scout in attendance at the pro day. Lane (6-2, 226 lbs) is currently projected to be an undrafted free agent.
