One of the reported visits for the Cleveland escaped us last week, as Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network did not specifically mention the Browns. Upon further review, though, he said that Lattimore will visit all of the top five teams, which includes Cleveland.

Lattimore is the top-rated cornerback in this year’s draft class and is the only player at his position who is guaranteed to be a first-round pick. Here is what Dane Brugler of CBS Sports had to say about him:

A one-year starter at Ohio State, Lattimore was sidelined by hamstring issues his first two seasons in Columbus, but he stayed healthy in 2016 and lived up to the lofty hype out of high school – saw snaps at both left and right corner, primarily in press-man. Play speed is critical for the cornerback position and he checks this box with a sharpie, displaying the sudden movements and transitional quickness to match up with any type of receiver. Lattimore is still developing from an anticipation standpoint, which is a result of his limited experience in college, but his athleticism allows him to stay attached to receivers and restrict passing windows – very high NFL ceiling and worthy of a draft pick in the top-10.
