Conley would be the third member of the OSU secondary to already be picked in the first round. A bigger corner, even if he isn't the most physical guy. He can play press man or zone and has really good ball skills. I think he is a great fit in Philly, who desperately needs to address their secondary. This pick adds a corner who can play slot or outside in a division that has a ton of WR talent. I'm not sure he will ever be a true lock down kind of player but he is an instant upgrade and a day one starter.

Pokorny: When it comes to consensus mock drafts, a third of them are split between two running backs, a third of them are split between three cornerbacks (including Conley), and a third of them are in some other boat. I like Conley’s potential as a player, and as a Browns fan, it’s so frustrating to see all of these cornerbacks knowing we wasted a pick on Gilbert a few years ago. The Eagles can draft flexibly knowing they have their quarterback of the future in Carson Wentz, so I don’t mind the selection of a corner here.
