Reddick is a tremendous athlete and playmaker -- something the Washington Redskins need on the defensive side of the ball. Reddick's best trait is his versatility. He can play on of the inside linebacker positions for Washington -- probably starting in place of Mason Foster. However, Reddick played defensive end for Temple is has very good pass rushing skills. He recorded 22.5 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks his senior season. He looked like a football player able to make the transition to linebacker with an impressive week at the Senior Bowl, and his performance at the combine was shockingly good. Reddick was the best player on the board here and will provide a versatile playmaker in the front seven for Washington.

Pokorny: The Redskins saw some shuffling at the wide receiver position this offseason with Desean Jackson and Pierre Garcon departing. However, they still have Jamison Crowder, they drafted Josh Doctson in the first round last year, and they added Terrelle Pryor this offseason. I think it makes sense to shift focus to the defensive side of the ball, and Reddick is just the athlete they need to inject some more life up front.
