2017 SB Nation Writers NFL Mock Draft - Cleveland Browns Take CB Teez Tabor at No. 52

NCAA Football: Florida at Louisiana State Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

The annual SB Nation Writers Mock Draft has been continuing over at our network's draft coverage stream. The way it works is that each NFL blog picks a player for their team when their site is on the clock.

This was a two-round mock, and I recently made my final pick for the Cleveland Browns at No. 52 overall. To recap what I did in rounds one and two so far:

  • No. 1: DE Myles Garrett (link)
  • No. 12: QB Mitchell Trubisky (link)
  • No. 33: S Budda Baker (link)

Those are three players who should be able to step in and start for the Browns on Day 1, but while we’re at it, why not add a fourth starter and some additional support for the secondary?

No. 52 - CB Teez Tabor, Florida

It certainly is a luxury to have four draft picks in two rounds, allowing the Browns to address their four biggest holes — defensive end, quarterback, safety, and now cornerback. The last two picks, including Tabor, will help rejuvenate a secondary that has not been able to rely on highly paid cornerback Joe Haden for several years now. Tabor also boasts good ball skills and a confident personality that could spread through the rest of the defensive unit.

To see what Dan Kadar thought of our pick, go here. The fan voting has us at a grade of 3.91 right now (1 = F; 2 = D; 3 = C; 4 = B; 5 = A), which falls in line with our previous pick.

If you feel the pick should be rated higher (or lower), feel free to head on over and vote! Let us know in the comments section how you would like a two-round haul of Garrett, Trubisky, Baker, and Tabor.
