NFL denies Josh Gordon’s attempt to be re-instated; remains suspended

NFL: Preseason-Cleveland Browns at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The suspension for Josh Gordon continues on.

On Thursday, Tom Pelissero of the USA Today reported that the NFL has denied the reinstatement request that was submitted a couple of months ago by the Browns wide receiver.

On Tuesday, we made note that Gordon was reportedly without an agent. ESPN’s Josina Anderson reported today that Gordon’s former agent terminated their relationship about two weeks ago:

At least we won’t have that lingering over our heads any more, and we can focus on the development of the team’s unproven receivers this offseason like Ricardo Louis, Jordan Payton, and Rashard Higgins.
