The Cleveland Browns signed K Zane Gonzalez on Wednesday. He is the fourth of the team’s ten-person draft class to be signed.
Taken in the 7th round at No. 224 overall, Gonzalez’ contract will be worth about $2.489 million, with a $89,168 signing bonus over four years, according to OverTheCap's pre-determined draft chart. His cap hit in 2017 will be roughly $487,292.
Gonzalez was the team's 9th player selected in the draft, their only kicker picked, and the first of their two seventh-round picks. He is 6-0, 202-pounds and played college football at Arizona State. Gonzalez will wear No. 5 with the Browns.
