Always trying to find a way to stay in shape or well-toned, Cleveland Browns LT Joe Thomas has now taken to the Flex Belt. On Twitter Saturday night, Thomas posted a couple of videos showing himself using the belt, albeit with a little discomfort:

I'm objecting to your core workouts from now on because I've found the @flexbelt. @Browns pic.twitter.com/VKv8gKTZsA
The person who Thomas tagged in his comment is Adam Beard, the team’s director of high performance. Thomas said, “I’m objecting to your core workouts from now on because I’ve found the Flex Belt.” Beard responded with the following:
@joethomas73 @flexbelt @Browns I don't know if that will help you retain your maximum force (strength) team record

Thomas also posted another video of him “taking it like a man.”

Could it be something we see the Browns utilize in the future? Not likely, unless Thomas is willing to fork over the money needed to buy them for all 90 players on the roster:
@joethomas73 if you buy 90 @flexbelt for our core workouts then I would be happy to utilize #LongPockets https://t.co/nkDJDm8qDE

I didn’t know much about the Flex Belt at first, and from some brief research, it uses electric muscle stimulation to tone your abs and make them firmer. It’s not going to turn a gut into something flat, though.
