Anyone who has watched Cleveland Browns games on CBS since they returned to the NFL should be familiar with Solomon Wilcots, one of the network’s announcers who has often called the team’s games. On Sunday, Wilcots announced that his 16-year reign with that gig has come to an end:

Early speculation is that he will be calling college football games instead. Some fans immediately wondered if this would impact the Browns’ preseason game announcer, which Wilcots has been part of for several years now.
A fan inquired to Wilcots on the matter, and he responded by saying that he will still be calling Cleveland’s preseason games:
