Last week, we saw that the Cleveland Browns had one player listed in Pro Football Focus’ Top 50 list for 2017. The NFL’s Top 100 list for 2017 is still being unveiled. There is one more list of note from last week, and that was Pete Prisco’s Top 100 list for CBS Sports, where he had two members of the Browns listed: LT Joe Thomas and LB Jamie Collins.
No. 12 - LT Joe Thomas - He remains a rock at left tackle for the Browns, one of the best in the league and a potential Hall player down the road. He's much better in pass protection than as a run blocker.
No. 87 - LB Jamie Collins - He had a tendency to get out of position in New England, so the Patriots traded him and his great athletic talents to the Browns last year. In Cleveland, he again showed that he could be a top-tier run-and-chase linebacker.
Thomas was Prisco’s highest-ranked offensive lineman. He actually had Thomas ranked lower in last year’s rankings, where he was No. 25 overall.
