The Cleveland Cavaliers are down 3-0 in the NBA Finals to the Golden State Warriors, and no team has ever come back to win from such a deficit. Could the Cavaliers be the first? I mean, if you think about it, they did have a four-game winning streak against the Warriors in the past year (the last three games of the NBA Finals in 2016, and then the Christmas game).
Although it looks bleak, we’ll see if the Cavaliers can continue to take advantage of the good they had in game three — and if they start shooting better than 25% on open three pointers, maybe we can extend the series to Monday.
Use this as a game thread to discuss the game! Also, be sure to head on over to Fear the Sword, who will also have a game thread along with plenty of other accompanying coverage.
