Browns fans think Zane Gonzalez will win kicker job, Jabrill Peppers at punt returner

How did Browns fans vote in our polls on special teams?

During our training camp preview on the special teams positions for the Cleveland Browns, we asked three poll questions to fans.

In our kicking game preview, we asked who fans think will win the kicker job between Cody Parkey and Zane Gonzalez. I was stunned by just how lop-sided the results were in favor of Gonzalez, as 95% believe the rookie kicker will win the job. 5% seems pretty low for Parkey, who despite one bad first game in 2016, was a solid kicker for Cleveland. The Browns’ investment in Gonzalez was only a seventh-round pick, so Parkey is still the early favorite to me.

Splitting the 95% vote further, 53% of fans think Gonzalez will win the job without a doubt, and 42% are on the fence. So at least Parkey has that going for him.
