Isaiah Crowell latches on to Drew Rosenhaus to be his new agent

How will it impact his contract negotiations with the Browns?

Last week, DBN’s Andrea Hangst discussed what impact the Le’Veon Bell contract situation in Pittsburgh could end up having on Isaiah Crowell’s contract negotiations with the Cleveland Browns. And now, those negotiations with Crowell may have just gotten a whole lot dicier. Sunday afternoon, Drew Rosenhaus announced that the Browns running back is his newest client:

Per Mary Kay Cabot of the Plain Dealer, Crowell formerly employed Universal Sports Management agents Robert Brown and Kevin Conner. That would have been the group who tried to negotiate with the Browns this offseason. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Rosenhaus touch base with the Browns’ front office soon to see if they are interested in doing an extension with Crowell before the 2017 season starts...but at what price?

If you recall, Rosenhaus was Terrelle Pryor’s agent this offseason, and we all know how that turned out. But every player’s situation is different, so I’ll keep my hopes up that Crowell, Rosenhaus, and the Browns can work something out.
