The national anthem story has officially hit Cleveland. It started last week with head coach Hue Jackson’s comments on the matter, followed by him having to read a prepared statement to clarify comments that weren’t all that troubling in the first place.
But prior to the start of Monday’s preseason game against the New York Giants, Jordan Zirm of Bleacher Report snapped the following photo of several Browns players on a knee during the national anthem.

Among the players on a knee are RB Duke Johnson, WR Kenny Britt, WR Ricardo Louis, TE Seth DeValve, OLB Jamie Collins. Other players, such as rookie QB DeShone Kizer, can be seen standing with a hand on the shoulder of the kneeling players.
