Browns’ Week 1 inactives: Danny Shelton will start, Bud Dupree out for Pittsburgh

The Cleveland Browns announced the following players as inactive for today’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers: QB Cody Kessler, WR Reggie Davis, OL Marcus Martin, OL Zach Banner, DE Myles Garrett, DT Caleb Brantley, and DT T.Y. McGill.

• I was correct with 5/7 of my predictions. In incorrectly predicted that OL Austin Reiter and FS Kai Nacua would be inactive. Instead, Martin and Banner are inactive.
• The Browns announced that DT Danny Shelton will start over DT Jamie Meder, and DE Carl Nassib gets the start in place of Garrett.
• The notable absence for the Steelers is OLB Bud Dupree, who is out with a shoulder injury.
