Cleveland Browns Week 3 inactives announced

NFL: New Orleans Saints at Cleveland Browns Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

Cleveland Browns defensive lineman Myles Garrett is officially inactive again in Week 3 after injuring his ankle before the start of the 2017 season.

Here’s a complete list of the team’s inactives for their Week 3 game in Indianapolis:

Quarterback Cody Kessler, receiver Sammie Coates, linebacker Jamie Collins, offensive linemen Marcus Martin and Zach Banner, and defensive linemen Myles Garrett and T.Y. McGill.

Jamie Collins has been a standout in the Browns’ front seven. He’ll miss this game after being diagnosed with a concussion following the team’s 24-10 defeat last week in Baltimore.

Receiver Sammie Coates may be a surprise inactive, but he didn’t look like a player who was operating on the same sheet of music as his quarterbacks last week. His status means both Kasen Williams and freshly-signed receiver Jordan Leslie are both active for the Browns this week.

Leslie was on the street earlier in the week, signed to the Browns practice squad midweek, and then elevated to the active roster on Friday.
