Will the Cleveland Browns be getting another game in London for 2018? We’ll soon find out.
The NFL will announce next season’s slate of international games in London on Thursday at 10:45 AM ET. You can watch the announcement live on their Facebook page. It is expected that either four or five games will be announced.
The Browns lost a home game in 2017, as they hosted the Minnesota Vikings in London. Rumor has it that the three teams transitioning to new stadiums — the Oakland Raiders, Los Angeles Rams, and Los Angeles Chargers — could be tapped to host games.
The six teams who have yet to play a game in London include the Philadelphia Eagles, Houston Texans, Green Bay Packers, Carolina Panthers, Seattle Seahawks, and Tennessee Titans. Other rumors have it that the international series is really hoping to score Seattle for one of the games.
Of the three transitional teams, the Browns are scheduled to host the Chargers at home and play the Raiders on the road. Therefore, the most likely scenario involving the Browns playing in London would see them playing a road game against Oakland. But at this point in time, there are no rumors involving the Browns — we’ll just have to wait for the announcement come Thursday!
