What is the best Super Bowl meal?

New, comments

You’re missing out if you don’t do something special for the big game, even if you’re just treating yourself.

Our final network-wide themed post surrounding the Super Bowl asks what the best meal is for the occasion.

I’m typically a frugal spender, but if you’re a football fan, I think the Super Bowl is one of the times during the year where you have to say, “screw it, I’m enjoying myself.” For example, donuts. I hardly, if at all, will buy them any other time during the year. But dammit, I want my Devil’s Food Chocolate Donut and Crumbcake Donuts at my disposal while the game is on.

That’s just a snack, though. We’re here to ask what you deem the best Super Bowl meal to be? I’ve seen a lot of chatter on other sites mention wings, but was surprised to see the lack of my time-honored tradition: pizza. Maybe it’s because that is a semi-regular meal anyway, but it’s still my go-to meal for the Super Bowl: one large covered in double cheese, and the other with pepperoni and sausage.
