Injury Notes

  • The Browns are without three players this week: WR Rashard Higgins, LB Joe Schobert, and CB E.J. Gaines. To replace Schobert, Christian Kirksey will slide over to his old position in the middle, and Genard Avery will get some more work. At cornerback, T.J. Carrie will likely start, with Briean Boddy-Calhoun getting nickelback work.
  • Center JC Tretter didn’t practice for two days, but was back to work on Friday and is expected to start on Sunday. If he can’t go, rookie Austin Corbett would make his first start there.
  • The Buccaneers are missing two starters up front this week in DE Vinny Curry and DT Gerald McCoy.
