The Cleveland Browns announced their inactives for Week 7 at Tampa Bay. Newly-signed receiver Breshad Perriman is active, along with injured center J.C. Tretter, who was questionable with an ankle sprain.
Duke Johnson is also listed as the starter on the team’s lineup, but he will surely split time with rookie Nick Chubb this week and moving forward. Running back Dontrell Hilliard could see snaps as well depending on game flow.
Da’Rami Scott, promoted from the practice squad this week, is in active.
Losing E.J. Gaines will hurt this week against Tampa’s high-flying passing attack. T.J. Carrie and possibly Briean Boddy-Calhoun will try to replace the talented fourth-year cornerback.
Browns inactives:
- LB Joe Schobert
- QB Drew Stanton
- CB E.J. Gaines
- WR Da’Mari Scott
- WR Rashard Higgins
- DT Carl Davis
Meanwhile, Tampa Bay will be without defensive line starters Gerald McCoy and Vinny Curry.
Buccaneers inactives:
- QB Ryan Griffin
- RB Shaun Wilson
- OL Alex Cappa
- OL Mike Liedtke
- DE Demone Harris
- DT Gerald McCoy
- DE Vinny Curry
