Browns fans’ lose faith in playoff hopes, despite big division game coming up

New, comments

Back-to-back losses have hurt Browns fans’ confidence for the 2018 campaign.

The Week polls are in, so let’s look at the results to see how optimistic Browns fans are getting!

How confident are you in the direction of the team?

Last week: 80 percent confidence

This week, 53% of fans voted for their confidence in the direction of the Browns, a 27% decline from last week. It’s the first time fans have dipped below 80% this season, and a big game against the Steelers will likely swing the vote significantly up or down this week.

The Browns have now fallen behind the Steelers’ 57% confidence and the Ravens’ 68% confidence, but are still well ahead of the Bengals’ 21% confidence.

Will the Browns make the playoffs?

The Browns are 2-4-1, which obviously isn’t ideal. But within the division, Cleveland is 1-0-1 — they haven’t lost. They get the Steelers for the second time this week, and a win there could really start turning heads again. Despite that fact, Cleveland fans aren’t buying it. 92% of fans voted “no,” the Browns will not make the playoffs this year.

Will the Browns win or lose in Week 8?

Odds: Steelers are 8-point favorites

Dawgs By Nature FanPulse: Steelers by 5

Bucs Nation FanPulse: Steelers by 10

Browns fans are even projecting the team to lose to the Steelers this week, by an average of 5 points.
