Injury Notes

  • The Browns are pretty healthy this week. The team continues to give C JC Tretter all the rest he needs for his sore ankle, but he was a limited participant on Friday, meaning he’ll likely start on Sunday again. The other player listed as questionable was TE David Njoku (knee), but he practiced in full on Friday, which is typically a green light for Sunday.
  • With the Bengals, all eyes are were on the status of WR A.J. Green. Their offense is ten times better when he plays, but he has missed the last two games with a toe injury. He did not practice this week. Head coach Marvin Lewis said that he would try to see how he feels during a Saturday practice; after that practice, his game status was downgraded from questionable to doubtful. WR Josh Malone is out with a hamstring injury for the Bengals.
  • The other players listed originally listed as questionable were CB Dre Kirkpatrick (shoulder) and OT Cordy Glenn (back). Kirkpatrick didn’t practice all week and Glenn didn’t really either, so their statuses are up-in-the-air. Kirkpatrick was downgraded to doubtful on Saturday.
