Today the Cleveland Browns completed the season sweep of the Cincinnati Bengals 26-18 at Baker’s Field in Cleveland (“The Bake”). I talk about it with the usual abundance of detail in this latest postgame (WINNER) edition of Ez Does it.
There’s three main areas, the first deals with today’s game, which of course begins and ends with rookie sensation Baker Mayfield. In between there’s the contributions of David Njoku, Nick Chubb and the offensive line (among others), as well as that of the officials. Another badly-reffed game in what is becoming commonplace.
Next is the issue of the upcoming head coaching decision. With Gregg Williams’ strong performance down the 2nd half, it’s time to start giving him a serious look. What does that possibly mean to Freddie Kitchens? Is Bruce Arians still in the fold? How much does the final game at Baltimore factor into the decision?
After that is a look at the offseason, and a sort of position by position breakdown of where we are (which is really good). Also spend some time on the impressive rookie season of Chubb, and the milestone he’s approaching.
