Back in 2013, Cleveland Browns CEO Joe Banner traded linebacker Emmanuel Acho to the Philadelphia Eagles for RB Dion Lewis.
Lewis tore it up for the Browns in his first training camp with the club, but suffered a broken leg during the preseason that kept him out all year. In 2014, with a new staff in place and Banner gone, the Browns let Lewis go. In 2015, he caught on with the New England Patriots, where he’s been a major contributor in the running back rotation.
Acho’s career right after the trade started off a little more optimistically than Lewis’ did. But by 2015, Acho had seen the end of his playing days and transitioned into somewhat of a media role.
During Super Bowl week, Acho had the chance to reminisce with Lewis about the trade:
In 2013 i was traded to the #Eagles from the @Browns. The player I was traded for is playing in the #SuperBowl. I’m holding the mic. I asked him who got the better end of the deal lol. pic.twitter.com/yQmxQz0Ccz

Lewis gave props to Banner for believing in him. Somewhere, Banner is smiling, and he was sure to retweet the clip on his own page.
