According to NFL Insider Adam Caplan, the Cleveland Browns are signing CB T.J. Carrie to a 4-year deal worth $31 million, with $10 million fully guaranteed.
#Browns and former #Raiders CB T.J. Carrie agreed on a 4-year, $31m deal ($7.75m APY). Includes $10m fully gtd at signing.— Adam Caplan (@caplannfl) March 14, 2018
Given the number of defensive backs the Browns have added, one has to wonder if CB Jamar Taylor will be cut soon. Carrie, a 7th round pick in 2014 with the Oakland Raiders, started all 16 games last year and was regarded as the team’s best cornerback in 2017.
