According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Plain Dealer, free agent wide receiver Terrelle Pryor was in Cleveland on Saturday, but it wasn’t to visit or sign a deal with the Browns. Instead, he was in town to “support Ohio State in the NCAA wrestling championships.”
Cabot asserts that the Browns and Pryor are still interested in a reunion, but remain apart on money. In the mean time, Pryor will be flying all the way out to Seattle on Sunday for a meeting with the Seattle Seahawks, one of four reported teams that have taken an interest in him.
Pryor has played for Seattle before, and as Cabot points out, they once tried to convince him to convert to wide receiver. He still wanted to play quarterback at the time. If Seattle gives him a good contract offer, I personally think he’ll sign with the team, because he will believe that the organization has taken a previous interest in him as a receiver, much like Cleveland did.
