The Cleveland Browns had a busy Friday! According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Browns have agreed to acquire QB Tyrod Taylor from the Buffalo Bills in exchange for a third-round pick (No. 65 overall, the first pick of the third round). This comes just an hour or so after news broke that Cleveland is also acquiring WR Jarvis Landry for a couple of mid-round picks.
Browns strike again.

This time, Cleveland agrees to trade a mid-round draft pick to Buffalo for QB Tyrod Taylor, source tells ESPN.
Taylor now will throw to new Browns’ WR Jarvis Landry.
And Buffalo back in QB market.
More on SportsCenter now.
What does this mean? Definitely forget about Kirk Cousins or A.J. McCarron — they figure to be out of the picture now, and I’m sure McCarron has to be pretty pissed about that after “what could have been” last year. Taylor has an $18.08 million cap hit in 2018. He had some other unique language in his contract for the years 2019-2021, but we’ll need to do more digging into that to see if those years are already voided.
I'm told besides the #Browns, other teams that were interested in making a trade with the #Bills for Tyrod Taylor were the #Cardinals and #Broncos. #Browns offer of a third-round pick easily trumped what other two teams were offering.

Taylor is the type of quarterback who will be viewed as a bridge starter in 2018, which means the Browns will draft a quarterback with either the No. 1 or No. 4 overall pick in this year’s draft.
What are your thoughts on Taylor being the new man in charge for 2018?
