The flurry of Browns news continued Friday evening, as Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network broke the news that Cleveland is trading QB DeShone Kizer to the Green Bay Packers.

One would assume that this is part of the trade that sends CB Damarious Randall to the Browns. I’m sure we’ll have more details shortly, but I am fine with this move. Kizer has a lot of growing to do, and now he can sit patiently behind Aaron Rodgers. At the same time, I thought he handled himself well last year despite all of the losses.
UPDATE: Per Adam Schefter, as part of the trade, the Browns are giving up some position in swapping spots with the Packers in the fourth and fifth round.
