The consensus here has been a quarterback but with a flyer on Teddy Bridgewater and young quarterbacks on the roster, I think the Jets need defensive help. Bradley Chubb is a game-changing defensive end who will replace defensive talent lost and improve an area of need for the Jets. The Jets need to put pressure on Tom Brady and Chubb will have a field day with no Solder to contend with. He is relentless and at number 3 the Jets get the most talented defensive player in the draft.

Pokorny: “The Jets don’t give a shit about Bryce Petty or Christian Hackenberg, so having young quarterbacks on the roster doesn’t mean anything. A flyer on Teddy Bridgewater hardly means anything too; this is a club that is paying Josh McCown $10 million just to get them through the year. The only reason the Jets traded up, well in advance of the draft, is to take a quarterback. On top of that, some may argue that the best quarterback in the draft, Sam Darnold, just fell right into their lap. Chubb would still be a great addition to the Jets, but I don’t think anything but quarterback is in their plans.”
