The Cleveland Browns signed DE Chad Thomas on Tuesday. He is one of two players to sign on Tuesday, meaning six players in their nine-person draft class have been signed.
Taken in the 3rd round at No. 67 overall, Thomas’ contract will be worth about $3.509 million, with a $1.409 million signing bonus over four years, according to OverTheCap’s pre-determined draft chart. His cap hit in 2018 will be roughly $742,235, which is behind the likes of Myles Garrett, Chris Smith, Emmanuel Ogbah, Nate Orchard, and Carl Nassib.
Thomas was the team’s 5th player selected in the draft, their only defensive end picked, and their only third-round pick. He is 6-5, 275-pounds and played college football at Miami. Thomas will wear No. 92 with the Browns.
