The Cleveland Browns made a couple of other roster moves late Wednesday into early Thursday morning. After swapping TE Randall Telfer for DE Dadi Nicolas, they also claimed LB Jermaine Grace off waivers from the Indianapolis Colts.
Grace (6-1, 225 lbs) was an undrafted free agent in 2017 who first began the year with the Atlanta Falcons, where he appeared in 5 games. He later played in 6 games with the Colts, logging 3 special teams tackles.
The Browns also announced the release of two players: RB Darius Jackson and LB Dominique Alexander. Jackson suffered a knee injury during offseason workouts last year and was on injured reserve all year. Alexander was released after failing his physical. He took on a marginal role as a rookie in 2016, when he logged 7 tackles in 14 games. In 2017, though, he only played in 4 games, finishing with 1 tackle, before suffering a season-ending knee injury.
